Just a question out of intrest, if YOU were to build a burnout car for a comp what would you choose and why?

the local hoons in our area like commodores the most.
I wouldn`t waste my money personally, but it should be fairly light and powerfull and something unusual like a hillman hunter with a 265 hemi and line lockers. I used to work with a guy at GMH which h

As a V8 mod an LH or LJ,or as a cheap Stocker unfortunately I'd have to say a TC TD 250 Cortina (who said that?).
Power to weight ratio is what u want.

I remember about 15 years ago there was a regular Hillman Hunter at AIR street drags who used to pop his front wheels in the air in the return lane after every run when he stopped to collect his time slip....Is this the same one?

I forgot to answer the topic question !

If the burnout comp is judged by crowd response you have to consider you will get a better response from a car the crowd relates to. You wont win in a Ford if the audience is mainly Holden fans.

Centuras came out with the Hemi, Hunters were all 4`s as far as I know . Except for Cloudys mates one !!

Yeah, there the ones the old Centuras 77 KB KC models, 245 Hemis with 185 HP stock.

rogo , it could be the same one as I was at Holdens 15 years ago, the owners name was max as far as I remember and lived in the smithfield area.
