I have had 3 new diffs in a year and the latest one still clonks and rumbles. Holden are adament there is not a problem with the diff, but change them anyway???
I have heard that this is an issue with all the V8 range, anyone had similar problems?

The Vehicle is a Holden Crewman V8 SS, delivered April 04.
I have no idea what model diff, I know that it is limited slip though.
The Holden dealer service manager tells me that this is not an isolated case, apparently all the diffs on this model suffer

one of my neighbours is a new vehicle mobile service mechanic for a large holden dealer in sydney..his vehicle,10 month old 1 tonner is on its 3rd diff and there spare parts delivery tonner which does not get real heavy loads is on its 4th...as he said, t

Other problems are, the vehicles load carrying capacity, it is rated at 750kg, but at anything over 200kg the tyres rub on the inner wing shrouds under cornering and the axle is prone to coming out of alignment, leading to excessive tyre wear and crabbing
