11/76 HX kingswood for sale. red 173 motor that was transplanted by the bloke before me. i've owned it for 3 and a half years and have never had any major issues with the engine, the only thing i've had to do was clean out the carby once. the engine has an inlet manifold off a HZ to meet emission regulations. the car has done 275,000 kms, and only 20,000 in the years i've had it. tyres have only done 20,000. car has a full exhaust system, hurricaine extractors and a custom made twin system exhaust with angled tips. He runs a V8 kingswood radiator with no leaks, doesnt burn through oil or leak oil. for the last year i have had the car in Melbourne, only using it to drive home every now and then, so in the last year it has done very few kms, but has done them with ease. i regularly drive it around 300km at a time, with no instances of unreliability. fuel consumption is quite good on the highway, i once got 750 km's from a tank (although it was bone dry when i filled up the next time). 4 gold bathurst globe wheels and whitewall tyres. kenwood 4x52 watt head unit runs 2 fusion 4 inch (front) and 2 pioneer 6x9's (rear). has kings superlows in the back, but they really made very little difference in ride height as i think the old springs had sagged quite a bit. back seats and carpet are in great condition, as are the door trims on all doors apart from the drivers, which a previous owner has stuffed a bit. it isn't bad, just does not clip in at the bottom. the driver's seat has 2 tears in it but is still roadworthy. It took me 2 months to paint the car last year, and there are small imperfections in the paint. on the right hand rear wheel arch there are 2 small (5 cent piece) spots of rust emerging, but that is all i have noticed. The car ran out of rego on the 22nd of november and i decided not to get it registered again as i am looking for a new car. I'm looking for a VU SS, so if anyone knows of any then i would appreciate being let know! :) I am going to put the car on ebay but thought i'd throw it on here first. Looking for $4500 with RWC or $4000 without.
