Hi,

I picked up a set of GTS rims for my HQ and was wondering if anyone knows what size from the factory the HQ Sandman Panelvan and utes profile tyre size came out in.

It is a 14" rim.

Thanks.

I believe all HQ-HZs that were factory fitted with GTS rims had ER70H14 tyres as standard. I compared a 30 year old Olympic ER70 tyre to a few modern 14" tyre sizes, and found that 215/65R14 was the closest match. From memory I think the overall diameter of the ER70 was slightly more but the width was spot on. 215/65R14 is very easy to get too. 225 starts getting a bit too wide for a 6" wide rim.

F78L14 4P/R for 6cyl and F78S14 4 P/R nylon/Poly tubeless. These are the same tyres as normal HQ ute and van. There were a fair few tyre options as well, especially for the 6cyl varieties.
