What paint were the production lines using on the WB Statesman? Was it acylic with or with out a clear coat on the metallic jobs or an enamel ? Does anyone know of someone in the Brisbane Ipswich area that can do a good paint job for around the 4k mark? This is a straight car with no rust and all removable panels will be sandblasted and the shell rubbed back. Cheers M S

Yes, it was an acrylic, and only metallics had a clear coat.
Cheers,
