Hi all,
Does the HG Premier (1970) have front and back swaybars as stock?
I need a new front bar which will accomodate extra pulleys, etc for an aircon unit. The new bar will be 24mm diameter.
I have been warned that upgrading the front swaybar can be dangerous unless a rear swaybar is also fitted. I've looked, to see if ther is already one, but frankly don't really know what I'm looking at, so thought I'd better check....
Also has anyone done a front sway upgrade on a HK/HT/HG before (wagon) and did it make much improvement?

Hi HG Tank.
No HK/HT/HG had a rear sway bar as standard.
Generally speaking, Holden did not use them until the advent of RTS ('76-'78).

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

Thanks mate,
Will changing the front bar, without adding a rear bar first, cause the car to behave dangerously? I don't do any high speed cornering, but live in a hilly area with winding roads, and don't want to fight fishtailing all the way.
