Hey fellas. following my mate over the week end returning to wollongong. i noticed when driving through the dripper and down Ousley. i seen it bellowing blue smoke. driving up the hills not a puff. but down the hills lots again. What could the cause be.

valve stem seals worn or valve stems/guides

Auto? Possibly also the modulator on the transmission. High vacuum can suck auto tranny fluid up into the manifold as easy as it can suck oil past the valve stems. |

if it was the auto it would be white smoke not blue it may be oil rings are on there way as i have had 2 v8's do it to a friend of mine cheers allen |

True, blue and white smoke are sometimes not that easy to tell apart! |
