I have a problem with my HZ prem I cannot solve.. I have installed a msd 6al, MSD coil and pro billet dizzy. I am having trouble with the ignition. I could get it started by putting the msd ignition wire onto one of the constant 12 volt pins on the fuse box but the engine does not switch off from the key. I have to pull the msd ignition wire off the fuse box pins to turn the motor off. If I put the msd ignition wire onto one of the fuse box pins that only has 12 volts when the key is turned to the on position and try to start, it will not fire.. How do you wire the msd ignition wire to the starter switch on the steering column?
I have tried joining the yellow and thin pink wire together from the ignition switch (there are 2 pink wires coming from the same point in the ignition switch, 1 thick pink wire which goes to the fuse box and 1 thin pink wire that goes to the engine bay) then connecting them to the msd ignition wire but then no power to the starter motor. I then joined the pink wire that runs to the engine bay to the pink and yellow wires from the ignition switch then join to the msd ignition switch to them. This also resulted to no power to the starter. I then rejoined just the pink wire from the ignition switch to the pink wire that runs to the engine bay that was originally cut to make this circuit (they were originally one wire) and still no starter.. That was the only wire I cut and have rejoined. It is now exactly the same as it was when I could start it. Now, no power to the starter?????? I have not touched the thick pink wire that goes from the ignition switch to the fuse box. This also does not show on the electrical diagram for this model??
This is really stuffing with my head.. Can someone please tell me how to wire the msd ignition wire to the cars ignition switch. This should be so simple but no matter how I try to do the wiring I either have no starter or I have to use the constant 12 volt pin on the fuse box. As of now, I have neither power to msd or power to starter. Please take note.. I HATE AUTO ELECTRICS..I am beginning to absolutely hate this car. I will never ever build another car again. Way to much stress and money.. I just want this thing going so I can sell the bloody nightmare bitch of a thing. BTW, I am on the disability support pension and cannot afford an Auto electrician and the ones I have called are not interested in having a look and fixing it.. (not worth it to them). I cannot afford to have it towed anywhere. I just want the bloody thing working from the key for gods sake. Could someone please help as this is the only car I have and am stranded without it.
PS, I do have power to the interior of the car, so it is not the fusible link.

I have solved the starter issue.
From what I understand from what others have told me, I need to join the yellow and pink wires from the ignition switch and then connect the thin red wire from the 6al to the joined yellow and pink wires.. Is that correct?
