OK heres how it goes, just bought an EFI 250 X-flo, planing on freshen up, lower comp pistons, mild head porting, roller rockers and 1 peice oversize valves. Also just bought a used turbo off of off a 3SGT toyota, the same turbo that is factory fitted to the 3L 2JZ supra 6cyl turbo. I'm thinkin 10-15 psi intercooled in a EFI crossflo with aftermarket rods n lower comp pistons will snag me 350-400hp at the flywheel. The question is I can get a WOLF ECU with hand monitor for around $1400 or a MoTec for around $2000. Which is better I'm leaning towards the WOLF simply because its cheaper but does anyone have any experience with these ECU's. I know the MoTec is a quality product. Also what size injectors would be suitable for this application. I have a dyno at work so fine tuning will be fairly simple. And last of all am I better off getting a custom grind cam suited to the turbo or just buying off the shelf, how much does a custom grind cost?
CHEERS for any info
