hi all, i just purchased a donor car for its v8 etc to put in my old kingswood , fired it up in the donor car today & apparently hasnt been started in 16yrs ! stuck it in gear & no gears at all ! should i chase up repairing this box ? find another box forsale ? or just get one of the recos out of the tradeing post for $350 ? is there any possible things on the box i could change 1st that might get it going again ? "apparently" it was going fine when parked in the garrage 16 yrs ago lol ...

do you have hq gts stuff 4 me ?????

gav,check the vacuum line to the modulator..should mostly be metal but top and bottom have rubber..these perish and therefore you have no vacuum...also obviously oil level as drainback from torque convertor overfills the box and usually the selector shaft
going to church makes you no more a christian than standing in a garage makes you a car...

thanks for the replys , $700 fitted fatboyvncalaisv8 sounds expensive , then again that was fitted you say , fortunately i'm the 1 doin the hard work this time ! just checked the tradeing post under auto transmissions in car parts & i think it will be wis
