Thanks: 1 times
This is going to sound silly but have you checked the bulbs? Its not uncommon for both to blow at the same time on the low beam. Especially the supercheap brand. No idea comes to mind about the door unless you pull the rear passengers one open and see how the child lock works from within

I agree with Paul about the low beem filaments. Supercheap sell two different "own" brand headlight bulbs the cheaper Chinese crap that barely last a year and a more expensive German made brand which are as good as anything else & well worth the extra $$$

Another thing with EF's is that they had two different type of headlight. Some had a real cheap and nasty (and inefective) type where they only had two single filament bulbs in each light one for low beam and the others merely switched on for high beam so you had two low beams and two high beams when you were on high beam.

The other type were more normal whereas the low beam was a traditional 2 filament H4 bulb for low & high beam and the other a single filament high beam so that you had four lights on high when you had high beam.

Having said that there is a bank of four or five relays under a black cover near the battery & coolant header tank. From memory the headlight relays are yellow as they have circuit breakers in them. Swap the two relays and see if you gain low beam and lose high beam.
