Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with central locking ED falcons. The drivers side door has to be locked and unlocked with the key, yet using the remote does make the lock go up and down, just doesent actually lock the door.

It sounds like the linkage between the button & the actual lock has dropped off. The linkage from the key lock to the actual lock is still there.
When you lock the car using the key do all of the lock buttons go down?

Mine did same thing, the mechanical "lock" on the door stiffens and wears causing the central locking to be tricked into believing that the door is not closed properly. Changed the door lock and all is well.
