My EH was made in August 1963 (50 years old this year and going a treat). It has what I thought to be the original wheels. I brought via Ebay a used set of wheel trims which were advertised as fitting early model Holdens but while they are 13 inch they don't fit; seem to be flat and don't fit the inside of the wheels which seem to be to deep for the trims.
Did standard 13 inch wheels change in design as im thinking either rims are for later model or my wheels maynot be the originals I thought?
Guess its one of the perils of buying off Ebay now I have to list them and hope I get my money back!

mrtf I know your problem all too well. My father purchased 3 sets of 13 inch Karinna style (this link has some good information http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/index.php?topic=14604.0) wheel trims for his EH and had the same issue with all 3 sets. Funnily enough with the last set he purchased 3 of the wheel trims fitted and 1 didn't.

There appears to be two types of Karinna style wheel trims, one has a slightly deeper dish than the other. Standard EH wheels require the deeper dish trims in order for them to fit properly otherwise you will not be able to push the hubcap back over them as intended without damaging the trims.

In the end the problem was solved by aquiring a set of the EH Premier style wheel trims.
