Hi guys,

An employee of mine was driving the company car that is on gas and it backfired really loudly whilst on a country trip.

The company car is leased through *****-*** and they claim that it's a computer malfunction.

Considering it's on gas, would that have anything to do with it.

Any constructive advise would be appreciated.

Kind regards
George. W.A.

Gas backfires are a fairly common thing. The main causes are: worn leads, worn spark plugs or just plain out of tune. They usually occur when trying to acellerate. Is your BA factory gas or aftermarkrt?

Hi Jim,

But I'm leaving this problem with *****-**** to sort out, as the vehicle is leased through them.

Kind regards
George. W.A.
