OK Ive been holding off for quite a while on publicly shaming this mob but the time has come as people need to know.

I paid $300 6 months ago (Sept 8) for an LX rear spoiler. The spoiler NEVER arrived and the owner acknowledged this and there was a few emails back and forth. Then everything stopped. I did some research on another forum and found out the owner (Lionel) had become sick with MS. So I gave it a few months to give him some space, and sent the ocassional email through facebook, with no response. I got their mobile and called about 6 weeks ago and spoke to some guy who said oh yeah yours is maybe here, ill check.. Then that was it.

A few weeks ago their facebook site became active again with a 'We're back' posting. I emailed them to no avail. I also posted polite comments questioing the wherabouts of my product on FB and these were removed. So they were back to take your money but not enough to respond.

Over the last week, following quite a lot of emailing and texting to politely ask whats going on and if theres any progress on my spoiler as my cars going in to get painted soon; I begin getting texts from a woman who seems to be Lionels wife, accusing me of harassment, slander, stress, making threats,and telling me that I am a stalker, and scum, and that i have caused his health problems!!!! She also told me to "grow the f#*! up" for asking when ill get my spoiler and telling me that I will end up in court!! Now as I have been polite and patient, i found this a bit rich. Especially as she was accusing me of stalking, harassment and slander in the one.. How ironic!

So anyway it was seriously like arguing with a 4 year old. They have (and she admits it) no understaning of the law regarding goods and services. I approached consumer affairs in Victoria who contacted them on my behalf in an effort to mediate and spoke to the guy. The officer called me back flabbergasted and said (and I quote) "I've never heard such language from someone who is supposed to represent a company" He said the person on the phone got extremely aggressive and abusive and he is now sending me the forms to escalate it.

I am now filing out the paperwork to purse them through VCAT. I have all the paperwork including all the emails,and phone messages.

The reason i am posting sush a detailed complaint is I want everyone to know to avoid these people at all costs. Im not necessarily having a go at lionel as i never spoke to him after he got sick and is apparently a nice guy, but the two muppets that seem to answer the phone, are abusive, aggressive, make false claims, have absolutely no interest in the 'customer' and are not to be trusted. I have offered on several ocassions to just accept my money back, but they have basically told me to go f*#! myself. If people dont believe me I can post up all the emails and messages.

I am also not slandering or defaming them as all this is completely true. I will be posting this on all the car forums im involved in, as everyone should know what sort of people they are as they are still selling through facebook and gumtree.

Im pursing legal action now at my cost and no one should have to do this over such a simple transaction

So to everyone, GIVE GREMLIN PERFORMANCE A VERY WIDE BERTH AND USE REPUTABLE TRADERS ONLY.
