Hi Guys,
Just thought i would share a project with you, i've thought about it for a while now.
i picked up an old rusty EH gauge cluster and converted the speedo to read the Temperature and the fuel gauge to read Humidity.
here's a video of it..

http://youtu.be/5bNWXRXC4cg

Painted it this weekend.

Would love your feedback and comments.

Why is the temp light on or is that a really dumb question?

Hi guys,
Yea they are just random blinking LEDs, i am still working on getting the left hand indicator to blink when it decreases in temperature and the right when it increases.
Not sure what to use the high beam for yet.

Cool & very imaginative. Have the temp light come on when it gets to to 40 deg!

I'm happy to see this, it means I'm not the only one with too much time on my hands. My weather station comprises a EK speedo connected via a speedo cable to a wind speed rotor on the roof of the shed. If I knew how I would post a photo.

Regards

The calibration is not good Jonezy, I live in one of the windiest towns in Oz and the highest I've seen the speedo gust up to is 30MPH.
