Hi all my wife has got a daewoo **** piece(bought it befor i meet her abd besides they now belong to holden) and when checking the oil today i noticed the oil looks more like sludge than oil.
Is there any thing i can use to flush he oil system out such as useing diesel etc?
Thereisnt oil in the water its just that the oil is a bit sludgy and i want to flush it a little.
Any agvice would be greatly appreciated.

dont do it...flush i mean,just change the oil.problem with sludgey motors usually means non regular service.flushing will clean out all the crap holdin it together.generally after flushing you will end up with bearing noises,smoke that you didnt have befo |

Hi Guys.
Nothing wrong with Daewoos, they've been GM designed since day 1 anyway.
Best thing to do with the oil is to use a good quality 10w30 (I use Maganatec) & change it every 5000 km.

Classic Oz wreck and Dr Terry are dead right, if you want to or can afford to, do a couple of quick oil changes about a week apart. I have found this gives good results on motors that are very sludgey. I remember my granfather flushing an a motor once, it |
