When did HQ change to body coloured firewalls?
Trying to find the earliest date,mine is a Brisbane built Kingswood 1/74 and it's Aquamarine firewall.
What month, year, colour,badge and plant is yours?

Sometime in November 73 I think. Not sure if all plants changed at the same time. They went back to underbody colour early in 74.

My tangerine deville was built 23/10/1973 at the Pagewood/Sydney plant and has a black firewall.

Mines a late 74 built at Acacia Ridge and its painted the usual light grey underbody colour that many Acacia Ridge built cars seem to have.

I have an original Aqua Marine HQ Prem wagon my dad bought new in 74. Built May 74 in Brisy I think, Remind me how to check where it was built and I will. It has a black firewall.
