G'day All,
Can someone please tell me what is going on here? I bought some replacement chassis mount bushes for my front sway bar today, I got the right ones for my car according to all the catalogues, but when I got home I realised that the bushes have a lip along both edges and so does the clamp that holds it on which makes it damn near impossible to get them in, because the bush pops out the side when you do it up because of the lips lining up with each other. Do I have the wrong clamps on my car or something? from another model maybe? I dunno, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Russ

From what I think you are saying....You have the wrong bushes for that type of clamp.
I'd be taking the clamps into where you bought the bushes Russ, and perhaps buying new clamps to fit the bushes you now have.
Sounds like the old type HQ-Z clamps :-(

Buy the bush and clamp to match from any supplier, the diameter of the bar is the only thing you really need to be sure of.
