Does anyone know of someone / business that produces a complete exhaust set up for a HT 307 / powerglide car? I have the original ramhorn manifolds so need the exhaust from there back. Prefer in QLD. Cheers.

I haven't seen one. We found a totally original exhaust on a HK Brougham that had been sitting in dry storage for 30 years for a HK 5litre GTS, just modified the tailpipe.

You wouldn't happen to have a picture / drawing of the complete set up? Cheers.

I will one day when I remove the driveline from the car again. It has a totally restored driveline in it which will come out and have a 350, TH350 and 9" put in.

It's just like any other single exhaust HT-G with the muffler at the rear and the pipe comes out bending down a bit then cut off flat to the road like. one of the monaro books has how it looks.

Interestingly, I'd considered building a low production run of these (if it was Export to South Africa I'd be Dual Exh Like The 350 )
See if you can procure yourself an original HT/HG GMH Factory Parts Manual, it (or the HQ one at least) has the Exh system layout showing routing & where flats in the pipes were etc ... its not too hard to build your own one with U-bends, 2" pipe , a Y junction for the cross-under/behind the sump manifold eng pipe & trickiest part to procure will be the 3 stud flanges & one has the slip-on heatriser up the manifold studs, unless your Rams horns are complete studs & flanges up.If not I think Castlemain or Delows used to do the Std Chev & Larger Corvette Flanges.
The Dual exh Chev Engines(export) had the oval resonators tucked under pass/drivers floorpans (you'll see the indentations in your floorpan running back to the twin in/twin out traverse muffler.
If you have the folding why not have a mate, build you a factory twin system with a Rarespares type 2 in , 2 out traverse rear muffler with the 2 tailpipes with GMH factory style turn-downs with the end cut off at an angle with the tips cut-off perpendicular ? (I built on of those yrs back & the 307 responded nicely (Oh & to Perk up your 307 Fit a 1980 305 California Z28 Factory Cam, It'll have smooth idle, more pep,& scream like a race engine (I've got 1 here NOS ) or can give you Part # or if anyone wants to PM me (not advertorial, just know successfull combos from 40+ yrs hands on tuning,in right place/s at right time.
Goodluck with finding an original drawing, but look in an Official GMH HQ Parts counter manual that has all the replacement part no's in it & you'll see what I mean, (PM me with addy & I'll scan a page to show you,if still in dark)
The only trouble with repro full length exhaust systems is the difficulty in trucking & finding samples of some of the original Hangers & some U-clamps if concourse resto being built

Thanks for the reply. It is not an original V8 car and I have pretty much replaced the entire floor pan and am not worried about concourse. I just want a neat, reliable car. I have the 3 stud flanges so that is not a drama. I might go with the twin system if it is to difficult getting an original one. My engine is all done, but thanks for the offer on the cam. I would appreciate a copy of the drawing - you can email me at hktgparts at bigpond dot com. Thanks.
