I have heard rumours that the benchmark HT 350 Monaro that was restored a few years ago now is up for sale. Body Number 4 from the Pagewood NSW plant, Platinum in colour is on the market. I believe it's the car that Ben Stewart had a hand in the resto and is somewhere in Brisbane. Can anyone confirm this and what do they think it is worth?

Yes I have heard the same rumour. The market will dictate the value. |

Surely somebody out there has an idea of what this car is worth! Yes it is the Platinum HT350 car that won its class at the Monaro Nationals a few years back. Would $175000 be too much to pay for this car or would I even get it for that? I dont even know how to contact the owner so if anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Greetings, Rumours don't usually have this much substance. Sounds like a scam. Be careful. |

The number 4 HT GTS 350 won best original HT at the Warwick nationals. This was the only nationals that the car has ever been entered in. It was not entered in Concours as the owner did not think it was up to that class.
It is definately a great car and has some interesting history. But will allow the owner to reveal all this if and when it comes on the market.

It's only my opinion, but I think it is worth way more than the asking price, although last time I saw the car was at least 3-4 years ago. With all the listed problems, small as they are to rectify, I suppose it really is only worth what someone will pay for it. I still think it's a bargain at that price though!
