Hi Guys,

Looking for some help with a mates HQ that he is thinking of selling.



Now with the above info... is it rare??

It now now Burgandy with a 308 4 speed, hasnt turned a wheel in anger in 20 years and is basically rust free. Also had a s***ty 80's sunroof.

None the million $$ question, How many where made and what it is worth? What would someone realistically pay for something like this??

Out of 2100 HQ's I have recorded there are 5 in Warrigal Black (including this one) 3 x 80837 and 2 x 81469. Even a rough HQ coupe seems to be going for around 20k so start there.

Another Dandy HQ with the dot after Model No.

Do you want the VIN as well for your records? I will PM the rest of the plates if you want them.

I have never actually seen a factory black HQ, would be a pretty trick ride with the doeskin trim.

Being black would it appeal to a buyer more than another color?

The HQ GTS sedan that ran at Bathurst in 73 and 74 was factory Warrigal Black.
