Hi there,
I'm trying to find my Dad's old 1977 Holden Monaro HX GTS. It is a 4.2L 253 V8 4 speed manual. It was bought from a local dealer, Dad then sold it to his niece which she then asked Dad if he wanted it back but he decided no. It has a sunroof on it (which Dad regrets) He also put a shelf in the boot (not sure why), he also put in a couple of gauges above the passengers glove box (he was a mechanic so he wanted to look after this car) He also put on it Radial Tuned Suspension from Holden, he also put the Radial Tuned Suspension badge on the boot. It was registered as IVW-430 in Victoria. It was sold at roughly 400,000kms in Korumburra. We believe the car went from Korumburra to Rosebud/Peninsula area. We believe it was bought by a army/navy personnel. I think the colour is a Tangerine Red colour with the black bonnet. I have attached a picture of it hoping it will look familiar to someone. Please share and contact me with any information on this vehicle if known of. I would LOVE to surprise my Dad if I could get it back or even find out where it is or what happened to it. It would make him very happy as he and I have always wondered if we will ever see this vehicle again. Thanks
