Was slowing at a red light tonight and noticed engine light flickered on then off. Went to drive of and it held 1st gear for 20 seconds not changing up through the gears until very late. Also noticed the speedo and trip meter stopped working. Drove another 10 Klm,s home and the auto changed normally through all gears from then on, but speedo/trip was still not working. Got home, turned ignition off, restarted, speedo/trip is working again. Gearbox is 6sp zf auto. Would appreciate any tips as to what the problem is or was? How old is the battery? They are quite susceptible to low voltage gremlins like that. |
