i am trying to install cruise to my vs ss and i cant get it to work. I need to know if the problem would be that my module is for a v6, which might not work in a v8.

To the best of my knowledge the cruise control module is the same for 6cyl & V8. Cable lengths might differ due to attaching to different ends of the engine (6cyl or V8).
