I need to retrim my HT which is suppose to be twilight blue.
I was told Eastern upholstery could supply but I have seen so many negative comments on even getting this guy to answer the phone that I don't think I want to go there.
I spoke to Winners who were very nice but actually non committal in so much that " oh maybe call back in 3-4 months we might have some".
I have seen HT's with twilight trim so I figure it must be available somewhere.

Would really appreciate any ideas , leads, whatever.

Cheers

What model/lux level HT? Bench or buckets?

Oops.
Monza Blue HT 350 Monaro
Needs full trim - the current velour just doesn't work for me.

Thanks.

You may struggle to the point of being frced to change to black trim. I doubt it will affect the car's value much if at all.

Is there an equivalent or similar Chev pattern trim available from the states. I found a reference to Twilight Blue trim in a Corvair. If you need to do seats and door cards it may be worth while getting a roll of it.
I presume its 14X for the trim code.

ps Also for a 68-69 Riviera. Was paint colour.

You only have to be in front at the end of the race.

twilight blue can not be gotten in correct grain for our locally delivered holdens. not worlduph or SMS or anyone can, been down this road many a time with trim colors, and especially blues for both holden and ford. the vinyl used in local cars is unique grain and weight(especially for headliner, doortrims and seat backs)and NO usa based car is close.
you may be able to get a very close dye and get some vinyls coated.

They were Nylex manufacture for HT-G and as Frank says not easy to find.

I would seriously consider black seats and door trims even if that means leaving blue dash and maybe blue headlining. Make it a contrast sort of like HK 18Y trim or HQ 38J or HJ 60A. Sounds strange but might be worth a try, if you don't like the mix then change the other bits to black afterwards and keep your original blue bits if they are really good. I've seen HK red and black mixed up before and it looked good. Imagine trying it with green and red trims mixed though!

Thanks for the suggestion Byron. Black vinyl would certainly be better than the current mid 1970's blue velour.
I am too embarrassed to drive the car as it is.
Dont think green with red trim would be very good (unless you're from Bangladesh - its their national flag colours)
I've seen Warwick Yellow with red trim and thought that looked pretty crook.

Or a Bunnies fan!

I've seen a Bright Blue metallic HK GTS with Goya red trim, sounds awful but it looked cool!

Never been a great fan of blue trim in a HK or HT GTS, Premier or Brougham, the woodgrain and the blue do clash a bit. But blue carpet, dash and headlining with black seats, door trims and console would probably look OK.

Blue with black trim - guess I will find out if it ends up OK or not.
Like you say, at least you can go and get black trim OK and something is better than nothing.
