Is there a difference in the arms between a hk 307/327 accelerator linkage and a hg 350 4speed one? I know hk use a 3/8" rod compared to a hg's 7/16".

I assume you mean the throttle cross shaft?
On HK the 307 and 327 are the same cross shaft.
On HT the 253, 307, 308 and 350 are all different, and the 307 is different to the HK 307/327 shaft, probably because of the shaft diameter.
I'm not 100% sure about HG, but there was a change to the cross shaft to carburettor rod on later HT350M and HG350M to make it adjustable for length with a threaded hex coupler about half way down the rod.

Yes sorry, the cross shaft. I just wanted to know if the 327 and the 350 used the same arms even though the rod is different. I have a hk one I was going to copy using a 7/16 rod for my hg but I don't have a hg one to compare it against as mine was converted to a cable before I brought it. If someone on here has hg 350 cross shaft they could give me some measurement of the arms that would be great, or if anybody knows of someone that makes a reproduction one that is the same as the factory original could they let me know also. I have seen two new ones and they are different to each other probably two different manufacturers but I'm not sure what is right or wrong.

Chris, both the HT and the HG 350 are listed as using the same cross shaft, part number 2809273.

I hope this helps a bit. I hope you like Third angle projection, as the angles are a bit confusing.
If you can't read it, please PM me and I'll send a pdf, which will be a bit easier to read.

UPDATE. Drawing errors are corrected. It also appears that some HGs have a simpler crosshaft with less bends on the carb crank. This may be when used in conjunction with the 3 piece adjustable crosshaft to carb rod.
