I'm wanting a electric winch for my car trailer, it's got to have the following 12v steel cable winch Declutch so to pull out the cable Manual back up handle a must if the battery is flat Remove control. Any recommendation .?

I'd just buy a 4x4 winch from the 4wdsupacentre. You can get a GrandeIII for $395 with remote control, uses Dyeema rather than steel - far ligher and safer. No manual wind though. You'd need a big battery though like a Century N70T and good wiring back to the trailer to charge it, like an Anderson plug. |

Have a look under "Members Rides" at page 12 of "The EH". Like just about everything he does it's real craftsmanship, in design and execution. There might be some ideas there for you.
