Mine has the remnants of chrome/silver on the triangle ends but I suspect it also had colour on the flat surface as well. Does anyone have a view or photos? Cheers Ian

That is an instrument assembly insert, part number 2807038. It is used on all manual models and console autos and fills in the space occupied by the transmission indicator housing on column shift models. I don't know of anyone reproducing them, but there is one on eBay at the moment for 1c short of $100!
