A few people asked, so with the kind permission of the current owner, here are some photos, including some from the 1969 Datsun 3 hour. This was the first HDT Monaro, driven by Spencer Martin and Kevin Bartlett.

strange it hasn't got black bamd in tail lights as HT gts have

Thanks for posting these photos. Wondering if you know any of the history of this car after the crash. I know of its appearance on Peter Wherretts Torque program but nothing else.

...not too sure if this has been mentioned in the past, but I met a guy with an ex HT GTS350 race car at the Whittlesea car show a few years back and he explained how they would "bend" the front crossmember in a press to give the car extra camber...

...not too sure of the race legalities at that time but apparently a neat trick that was used by Harry Firth or someone similar. Sorry for the incomplete details, and maybe someone can elaborate ??
