I have seen this product when it first came out, as I ride a dirt bike in harsh conditions I seen it as a good point to use because my KLX650R would boil in real tight stuff and big hill climes, the thing is it advantages are that where I could boil and loose all the water and then having no water way out in the bush and destroy the engine that way, or with the Evans she would be fine and that problem solved, but then there is the chance of tearing a hose, one thing is you could just have a pin hole and because the Evans is not under pressure that one good thing but if you destroy the hose and fix it you have to then use water, that's fine but you don't have pressure cap but you can get back home.
One thing is that water is the fastest recovery cool down better than added anti boil and better than Evans, so where the temp may rise on some bit of real tight track, water will recover and be ready for the next tight bit and so on.
One thing is then the oil temp, what's going on with that, Evans may hit the oil temp harder in some conditions so you may have to use a oil in regard to that.
I remember the old air cooled Honda XR500, XR600 when they got hot they could use a lot of oil and needed a oil to handle that.

As for a car driven on the roads I can see no advantage in using Evans and the cost of doing so is to high, for racing it maybe ok, but it could be banned on some race tracks as others are.

Thanks for that, I didn't consider the racetrack suitability. I do do some basic Motorsport in this car. I do have a detonation issue and I'm interested if Evans will help before I look elsewhere, (it may well be plugs too hot but this is an opportunity to experiment).
I think I have talked myself into this so I'll go ahead and report back how it goes.
