Hello Everybody, I have a HQ ute that originally had a 3 speed on the column but now it has a 4 speed on the floor,I need a section of the steering column cover without the gearlever attachment are these available or do I need to make one from 2 of what I already have.

Hi Owen,
What you need is a floor change column shroud. They are available on E-bay (quite often) and should also be available from wreckers or privately from people wrecking HQ's. They may also be available from Rare Spares or American Auto Parts or R

Owen, the HQ cover is also the same as used on the LH LX torana floor shift steering colombs & are around $20 S/hand, rares are about $45 new.

The Rares ones are from original GM tooling and produced in a neutral colour so you can paint it to suit your colours.
