I have a stock EH 3 speed,149 motor. Lately it has become very hard to engage 1st and reverse gears ie physically very hard to push gear lever into those gears.
Any advise what may be wrong and how to fix would be appreciated.

Tony
70 ute could be right. There is an adjustment up inside the bell housing that is not all that easy to get at. You remove the clutch cover and adjust it with a long allen key and I think from memory a 3/4" open end spanner. I worked on these cars

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the feedback. The problem turned out to be minor there is a cable that goes down steering wheel into engine area and it just needed lubricating.
Can't beleive how easily car slips into gear now.
