I have heard good things about the repo bumpers good fit etc your the first person to comment in regards to the quality of the chrome, I would personally always go with originals being re chromed over repo but expect to pay around the $700 mark give or take for one so on level pretty much with a repo stuff

Thanks, its the rechromers who say the repos are no good. They say the repos are not triple plated. Not sure of the chroming procedure. John

The Repro ones are TRIPLE PLATED and suit anyone who doesn't have the time or a good quality one to send for plating. Remember the replating depends on the quality of the bar to be plated. Rust and dents have to be removed before any plating can start.Be sure to ensure you mark your bar before sending it off and you get the same one back. The Repro bars don't spend as much time in the plating process as the originals did. Secondly it is becoming more difficult for plating due to environmental issues in all countries including Australia.

I've been dudded by pretty much every chromer Ive ever used ask will their repo chrome last like the original and if it falls off in the first 3 years will they redo it?
I've had some stuff re-chromed and 3 years later its rusty thats keeping it inside the cupboard in the house other stuff Ive put on cars lasted less.
GM bleed us dry and run away.
