Cant figure if at 155K it was cheap compared to other recent sales
or
It was rough, (liked the HT bonnet - not) and the re riveted tags make me nervous so was it an expensive piece of junk ?

It was genuine enough, but an unfinished restoration, and perhaps hurried for sale. The cheque book brigade mostly seem to prefer cars that are a going concern these days.
