F1 is going to axe the grid girls from Grand Prix starting in Aussie in March. Apparently the American owners Liberty Media have decided to keep up with this trend not to objectify women.. Darts have stopped using walk on girls to escort players....So it looks like all the girls who are on pit lane and on the winners podium will be history. I wonder how long it will be before It happens here with the Super cars?...We all know how these thing gather pace and have the roll on effect. The snivel libertarians will get hold of this and grid girls here will be history. Well I have two grown daughters and one of them was a model for a few years and my wife loved her doing it and I hated it...I was jumping for joy when life got in the way and she stopped .....She is a D in the QLD coppers now...lol. Here is a link to the article from oz news .http://www.news.com.au/sport/breaking-news/formula-one-axes-grid-girls-starting-at-the-australian-grand-prix-in-march/news-story/15b88936dc950b5e737696f3249af5ab

If you are a red blooded white man, you have no place in a political Correct Socialist State, one has to be queer or a fruit loop to be looked up to nowadays.
They the fruit loops are coming down on our Gold Coast Meter Maids and all as well now, all this ranting and raving about such nonsense is just madness, they are robing them women of the freedom of opportunity's and they should sue for being actively full on discriminated against and even the loss of a right to make money etc.
Fact is now that even prostitution is now legal and a encouraged profession nowadays fully supported by our Governments and the women involved in the GP etc are in no way regarded as anything of the sort at all by any stretch of the imagination and attacks on such girls is totally unjustified.

Strange isn't it? I don't think any of the girls that do it get forced into against their will.
Maybe it's more a matter of the kind of women who want it stopped are the kind that wouldn't get asked to do it.

Well I don't understand why such people complain, hell I like a bit of eye candy floating about the place, but that don't mean I have any intentions than of having a look see. I would not get about showing myself off as years and the gut is nothing to be proud of, so I don't see why other old and fat women complain about such woman, our good days are over. I remember at 17yo saying look at them 50yo old bastards and a 60yo was buggered and now I know it for a fact. Girls love being admired and I know this for a fact but it must come as a shock when they are not and they don't have the nous to deal with such.

One of my mates has 2 daughters that do casual promotional work for an agency that is used by various big brands. You'd probably call them grid girls when they're at a motorsport event, but more often they are mingling in the crowd, or in pit lane, or in the corporate areas. Other times they might be walking up & down a footpath in the city to promote a new product, or even holding an umbrella to shield a brand ambassador from sun or rain. They're paid to be there by one of the sponsors, and they are paid quite well too. They don't see it as demeaning or sexist (even when holding an umbrella or making sure a senior citizen can navigate stairs safely). Compared to other girls their age working part time food jobs to get through uni, they only work every 2nd weekend or so in "peak season" and can concentrate on their studies during the week. Some of their friends in the industry also do catalogue work as well, but it doesn't pay as good, and some shoots can take all day for 1 or 2 photos that get used.
This is a real blow to the girls who are making a career out of it - some of them would go onto full-time modelling work. I doubt any of the girls doing it are out there saying "I hate my job" |
Cheers,
