When my car is cold the gearbox seems to slip, it only does this once in the morning then seems to be fine for the rest of the time, does anyone know if this means its time for a new clutch?

Iam presuming that you mean manual. The most effective and cruel way to test your clutch is to put the car in fourth with the hadbrake firmly on & give it a dose of revs whilst slowly releasing the clutch. The engine will stall or the car will move forwar
