G'day guys

Looking for a Engine mechanic to look at my mild worked
holden red 186 in a HT UTE. Since the donk went in, it has not run the best and i am starting to lose it. I have had the carbie checked (Twin Strom)by specialist but still no go. The engine runs very rough and chokes when gas is applied from slow revs or when turning corners. Have had timing checked and corrected but when lined up it runs worse. I have tried advancing as much as I can but it does not help and starts to ping. I have the 253 manifold in place with the carbie as started before. All leads and plugs are in good condition as should be the internals of engine, it had a partial rebuild before went in. Need a mechanic who can identify this anouying problem in Melb South East Or Peninsula Region. Might be an easy fix or a real problem???
On another issue, how can I mod up my accellorator from Mech Linkage to Cable?? with little or no oxy or weld??

Hope you guys no the answers cheers pommy..

Jimbob'

If the problem is when you turn corners, this usually means you have a problem with the Float level or Sh*t in your Carbie. How did your specialist "CHECK" the Carbie, - Did he open it up, check the Pump n Filter, Did he charge u ?

If it's
