I see another" A9X " is for sale on Muscle cars website , they say it was a fully painted and trimmed car but no motor fitted from new ? Is this possible ? Also the ADR plate is a little strange , it looks like seating capacity is 6? If you look closely at the plate the Es are very badly formed and some of the numbers also. I checked another LX plate only a few weeks different and it has very clear stampings. Anyway nice looking car and can be yours for only ……….$425,000. Thanks Mark.

I’d have to look a bit harder, but a GMP&A race car should not have a compliance plate, and I believe you are correct that complance plate came from a 6 seat vehicle. They got a chassis number though, and I do know how to check if the chassis number is correct for a GMP&A body. Not sure on the story re the “no engine” either, as far as I am aware these were mostly built and driving cars with L31 and M21. HDT did supply their own rear ends for their cars.
But being a Patterson car I guess who knows?
