I never knew about this car. Did a 1000kM race in 1976. Those optional 14x7 PE1 Honeycomb rims were awful things, I had some on my LX and I could never get them to balance properly. 200km/h on a set of these would have been like being on a corrugated road! https://www.pressreader....0171101/281779924362821

This was a standard spec GMNZ HJ Monaro ( it had to NZ made to race) If you wanted an HJ Monaro in NZ ,it was 1 model only , 308/Auto/Honey comb wheels and front and rear spoilers .Thanks Mark. |
