Hi There,I just bought a ZL Fairlane, Its a realy nice car ans all the electrics work...BUT when i take off from lights it realy struggles at first and after about 10 meters it takes off... Any ideas???

does it still have the standard 2.77 LSD in it?
only other thing i could suggest, is the tranny isnt quite up to it in first - but im no expert on that

Is it an unleaded Fairlane? If so you may have a blocked cat converter.
The easiest way to test for this is to undo the exhaust joint that is directly under the drivers seat just behind the converter.

are you sure the tranny is starting off in first? is is rare but i have seen it once, take off and count the gear changes. it could be a blocked cat like JIM5.0 said, or a blocked muffler. if the tranny is stuffed in first it'll just slip and the engine w
