I made a comment the other day that a brougham is rarer than a Monaro due to actual production totals. Obviously I was questioned as to how many broughams where actually built against the Monaro. answer, I don't know. can anyone help. I believe there were approx. 35000 Monaro's across the HKHTHG range, but are there any stats on the Brougham numbers?

You can estimate HK pretty well by Pagewood and Elizabeth body numbers, and assume that Dandenong numbers will be close to Pagewood and add a few Acacia Ridge in too.
I think HT can be done similarly. HG not as easy.
Not sure if there are published figures. Someone may have some. I know HK Brougham did not sell well, and a lot of the 307 and Powerglide that remained at the end of HK (and used in HT) were for HK Brougham that were predicted but were not scheduled (I believe most of those scheduled production “slots” were allocated to extra GTS327 production in order to meet ADRC requirements for the 1968 Hardie-Ferodo 500). Not sure if sales got better for HT or HG.

From an old post Quote:Found the mag Motor Manual June 72 1967 Fairlane 6972 of which 10% are base model 1968 Fairlane 8002 Brougham NR 1969 Fairlane 8622 Brougham 3104 VIP 3192 1970 Fairlane 9130 Brougham 1788 VIP 2174 1971 Fairlane 8492 Bro/Stato 3580 VIP 996 1971 includes HQ release when Statesman outsold Fairlane for Sept/Oct
Looks like the Brougham struggled to garner 7000 sales.
