Just brought an XB Falcon. Pretty much all original (especially the rust!!! hehe) Should i keep it original or go street with it?

Really, you need to ask yourself the question. If you go by someone else's opinion, you will regret it in the long run. Why did you buy the car? Did you want a nice clean original or a hottie?

if it is all original keep original just do a respray if needs doing but if u want a hotted up on just get another fairmont gs type and do it up and have the original 1 left as all original does all numbers match

i think u should keep it as will be a nice car and will be a real head turner,as i have a 1977 xc glx fairmont 351 cleveland with a 450 holley carbie and it is 1 of the last 1,s.

i have a conversion kit and a 502 bigblock with alloyheads and a victor junior manifold that wll do about 850 at the wheels that will go perfect in it ... call me on 0404631621

How about ya make it a sleeer do it up all original on the outside and the interior tooo,put some hubcabs on it and white walls,have a tough 351 built up and gilmore drives and a nice exhaust with a shift kitted hi stall auto and a lsd.you will have lots

My belief is, make it your own, personalise it.....make it how they would have made it back then had they our technology.....older cars should be driven and not hidden, so make it as comfortable as you can for you to drive now

Yes I would say put your stamp on it even better a crushes or maybe just take it to the wreckers or better still by a Holden.

yeah my xb ute is stocko white still with 250 badges & dings,runs 351 clevo toploder out of xy and 9inch disc rear,its got 350 hp at treads,very much a sleeper
