Gday.

I picked up a Dual speedo (mph/kmh) yesterday from the local wreckers for my HQ tunna for $15. It seems to be keeping speed reasonably accurate although the needle "bounces". What i mean is that the needle moves up and down a bout a millimetre like it is vibrating.

What causes this and how can I fix it?

Thanks Blokes,

Matt

Dont mess with me I have a 253.

Thanks

Qute pointed it out to me also. It seems the speedo fixed itself today when I drove it. Must have been the cable?

Hi Matt,

That was a stroke of good luck. Must have been the cable wasn't quite home properly...they can be a bugger to get to click in.

If you want to have a look at the one out of the Qute, it is here: http://gallery.oldholden.com/Qute

Cheers.

Hows the "Qute" coming along anyway?

Hi Matt,

The offer of the speedos still stands, but it now sounds more like your cable than the speedo.

Hi Dave;
Geoff here from Melbourne. How did the electric windows go? Did Aus Post send them over in good order? Make sure to keep everyone posted on the progress of the Qute, and perhaps some pics as well.
Cheers;
Geoff
