hi everyone, just picked up a hk ute with chev engine it seems to be painted originally in an orange color with a white roof, I cant find the paint code anywere with google,, it is 585-8769, roof is 585-0269,, if anyone can help indentify these colors, maybe a special company paint scheme,,thanks in advance..

I've recorded fleet HQ-HZ in those colours. The orange is simply called Light Orange as far as I know. The top is Snowcrest White. The paint code for the combination is 1093. Light Orange is often found with Palais White too and that combo is 2429. Probably the same company just the white was changed.

thanks for that do you know who the fleet would have been it is in Victoria now,, and anyone else have a HK ute recorded with this combo of paint,, thanks again..

No company name associated with it, just Light Orange.

thanks rig pig,, sounds like I have hit a dead end then for now, its a strange combo especially with the white roof,, I,ll keep looking and see if I can find a company that used that combo but don't like my chances if no body on this forum knows I don't like my chances..cheers

Might be telecom, clearly remember their kombi’s being orange with a white roof.
