I am currently converting my XY Fairmont (250 eng) to 351. The engine came with a C4 transmission. Does anyone know of a quick check to determine whether the C4 is cactus or not prior to installing it behind the engine or getting an auto specialist to pull it apart and charge me a fortune ?

Thanks
