It might be, but it could also be a normal HJ GTS. Its completion was delayed by about 3 weeks compared with others around it but that is not something that abnormal. It doesn't show up as an internal department car, it was ordered through the Sydney zone office, completed on 8/3 and sold via Lockhart Motors in Southport in April. It was originally pretty well loaded, with L31, air and steer being optioned but no LSD. It may have been a special build for someone but very unlikely to be something done internally. Often internal cars have internal dealer codes and are ordered through Melbourne zone office. I can't say it isn't what is claimed, but I do not see any evidence that supports the claims. |
