Hi all, Newbie here so go easy... I have come across a HJ 1 tonner in fairly good nick but I was going to respray it myself. I was wondering what the best and cheapest way to strip the existing paint - It has lots of small cracks in the paint. Thanks Peter

Hard work and elbow grease. You can paint strip, makes a mess. Also there are some mechanical devices you can use but be careful of going too aggressive. Watch the lead joint too where the quarter joins the roof behind the drip rail. Send me the car’s details (chassis number, VIN and data off the body tag and I’ll get you what history on it I can. |
