Anyone here who's car has been used in a movie/TV production? There's one being filmed in the next street. Literally. I'm after any advice. It will probably just be static (250 bucks/day) or if driven (500/ day) I'll need to check the insurance angles too.
Thanks in advance for your help. |
Attn camry drivers. The accelerator is the skinny pedal on the right. |

Make sure you put a small incorrect part on it so that everyone can point it out on forums for decades!

Thanks in advance for your help. used to work for a film and TV Commercial company in South Melbourne my car (and me) have been in some commercials and films .. no charge*. But I did charge when the ad agency for 'Safeway' supermarkets chose my kitchen and family room for a series of food/fresh food (remember the fresh food people?) TV Commercials. Our location manager and their producer thought it met their requirements. $1 large a day was the rate back in the early 90s oh .. and an indemnity to cover any damage * getting my ugly mug in TV docos for Ch7, ads for Coca Cola and credits for feature films was enough |

A mate had his Charger used as a static prop (ie parked car in a road scene) and got paid 500 bucks from memory (this was about 5 years ago for one of the underbelly shows I think) Just check with your insurance I'd say, or make sure their indemnity (show it to your insurance) is good.
Smitty, was your car in anything memorable?
