Hey I was thinking of converting a Series II VQ 6 cyl, 5 speed manual into something a bit more powerful. I was wondering of the above three options which would be the easiest/most efficient and price wise (ie most power for less). Or is there any other cheap options to give it a bit of a boost?

Sell it and buy a V8 one. It will end up costing you about the same sort of $. I've never seen a 5-speed VQ before - is it factory?
